About Me

I am from the small West Georgia town of Bremen. Many of my fondest childhood memories center around the "coloring room" in my home where my sister and I made crafts, drawings and paintings of all kinds. It was there that I first discovered my love of creating. I continued working with different art forms during high school where I received the Senior Art Purchase award and completed a mural for the school gymnasium.
I am now a 2021 graduate of Georgia College and State University with a BA degree in Fine Arts Studio. College introduced me to many different mediums that I have grown to love and enjoy. Photography and printmaking have challenged my creativity, and I am excited to continue to use these art forms. I have especially developed a passion for ceramics. I took my first ceramics class in 2018, and I have loved working with clay to create pottery and sculpture since then. Now that I have graduated from GCSU, I plan to continue my creative efforts and further develop my skills.
